I know the video is a little boring, but I am so impressed with how long he is staying on all four!

Up On All four!!

So, Tristan has been doing tummy time, almost, everyday since he was 13 days old...  Well, he has been trying for quite a while to GO... he really wants to be mobile!
He gets his legs up under him, but doesn't push up with his arms, so he scoots himself face first across the floor.  Or wiggle back and forth from shoulder to shoulder, scooting his face across the floor...

Well, today... he got up on all four (with VERY little help from me at all)!  He was really excited about it too! It was soooo cute!  I told him how proud I was of him and almost started crying! (kind of silly, I know... but still true)

He held if for a while... well, long enough for me to take a pic and during the second pic he fell back to his belly.  I put my hand behind his feet and he got himself up completely by himself and was kind of rocking back and forth!

Oh yeah.... need I remind you he's only 4 1/2 months!
He's such a rockstar! :)

It Glows...

I got Tristan a new friend.  I've wanted to get it back when I was pregnant but ended up putting it back.  And for some reason, it never made it to my registry :( Oh well...

I got it so that it would help him fall asleep at naps.  So far, not the case.  He hears it and looks for it instead.  Maybe once the newness wears off he will cuddle it and sleep.  But he does like his nap monkey, so maybe not. lol

Eight Years

Kaleb and I have been together for 8 years now.  It's hard to believe it's been that long...

Tristan is quickly approaching 5 months old... and is excelling past milestones!
I haven't been able to catch it on camera yet, but he does this little frog hop when he's on all four!  So adorable!  We have to baby proof soon....

WWU Duck

He placed his hand to hold his binky in until he was completely asleep.

He didn't stay asleep long.  Maybe 10 minutes.  Then he was crying and crying.  Kaleb wanted to give it 3 mintues then check on him.  Almost exactly 3 minutes, he stopped crying.
When we went in there to check on him, he had made it up to the top of his crib and found his WWU Duck that Aunt Hannah gave him.  I sniped a picture of him over head.
That occupied him for a while.  But it was obvious that he wasn't going to sleep, so to the living room we went.
Silly boy. :)

Tristan was hanging out with me while I put his laundry away... and he pulled himself up in the bouncer too (previous post about him sitting up in his swing)!  I am hesitant to use this chair because it is so easy to tip over.  But since he was literally at my feet, I was keeping VERY close tabs on him.  Then he started sitting up, I took some pictures but then it was time to get out of the chair before he did manage to tip it over!

Only a Matter of Time

 Tristan is trying so hard to crawl.

He scoots himself across the blanket, as you can see.  Then at the end he pushes up on his arms.  If only he could connect the two... lol

Asleep Standing?

He fell asleep playing in his bouncer.  He would wake up for a little while, then look in his mirror and eventually fall asleep.

He's lovin that little monkey :)

Nap Monkey

I started giving Tristan his little monkey that Nancy gave him at nap time.  He really likes it. It gives him something to hold onto, other than my finger, while he falls asleep...

Kaleb loves napping with Tristan.  I personally think it's so he has an excuse to nap himself :P

Balloon

 At the wedding yesterday, Tristan got really interested in the blue balloons.  It's not the first balloon he has been completely fascinated with.

Sittin and Fallin

We went to Terry and Kim's wedding today. Kaleb worked with Kim. They are a wonderfully cute couple :)
CONGRATULATIONS!!! :)

Tristan was rocking his "Monkey Outfit"... since that is the most formal attire we have for him. Might pick something else up before my cousin's wedding next month.

I LOVE my men! They are incredibly handsome!! :)
