Must Touch

Tristan is often on the couch playing next to me or looking out the window.  As soon as I get up, he bolts for my laptop that he MUST touch.

"Oh, Mommy sees me...."

"I can get this thing... right here..."

"wait... what's down here...."

"nothing I can grab... let's play with this after all...."

"Let's see... what should Mommy's facebook status be....? or maybe I should update the blog...."

Started Walking!

Tristan walked all by himself tonight! He's 8 1/2 months old!

I was near him, picking up some of his toys... I stood back up and backed away and he let go of the play pen and walked towards me, then dove for me! I was shocked and excited! :)
I then made him do it over and over... then finally grabbed my camera to get it on video :) He is so amazing!

Poor Nose

Tristan flipped his walker up and was playing with the "trunk" compartment.  OH and he's getting really good at standing by himself.  Any day I expect to see him start to walk...

See his nose?  He tipped his green bin onto its side and hit himself in the nose with the other side.  I really hope it doesn't leave a scar... he got himself good.

Last Trip

Tristan knows the word Android.  If we say, "Tristan go get your Android," he goes over and "attacks" it... he's so funny!

This is the last trip in the infant car seat! He will be riding in his new convertible car seat, starting tomorrow! He's gettin so big!

Cried At A Person

Tristan has been standing by himself for a while now.  And he is so strong- he lifts his big Android right off the ground!

Tristan finally met Philip tonight.  Tristan cried when he held him.  It's the first time this has happened with anyone...  Phil ended up giving him his watch to play with; while he was distracted, he sat on his lap.  He was okay.  I think it was just because he was tired.
Kaleb, Jen and Philip think it's because of Phil's braces.  Could be....

Laundry Time With Mommy

Tristan helps me with the laundry.  When it is dirty, I let him push the basket to the washer/dryer.  When it is clean, he hitches a ride to our room to put the clothes away.  I should dig up one of the earlier pics and compare.  He's getting so big!

8 Months Old!!!

I can't believe Tristan is 8 months old already!  His baby time is coming to an end....
